Hana Pera Aoake is an artist, writer and curator based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa who primarily works within the Fresh and Fruity collective. Her work explores female pain, digitality, social class, mental illness, sex work, colonisation, aliens, cyborgs, and humour. Hana used to make lots of performance, video and photographic work, but is now quite jaded and prefers instead to take lots of screenshots of alien sightings, cyborgs like Kim Kardashian and sharks. She also writes about her feelings online through twitter and google docs.
